Vegan Wedding Dreams in North Vancouver

This eco-friendly wedding inspiration shoot featuring Erin Ireland was a dream come true.

How it all started…

When asked if I wanted to come on board as the Planner and Stylist of the shoot, I couldn’t say yes fast enough. It was like an amalgamation of all my favourite things: sustainability, intentional design, and an epic team of vendors.

Advice from the experts…

The world is changing, and more couples are becoming aware of the need to incorporate sustainability into their celebrations.

While we like the challenge of going completely zero waste, we know that’s not always possible. So more than anything, event vendors need to help make planning an eco-friendly wedding accessible…and fun! All without compromising dreams and design.

During your initial meetings with clients and vendors, it's important to be clear on the goals and expectations for the event.

Are the bride and groom big foodies? Maybe you can showcase a delicious local, seasonal menu! Do they love beautiful stationery and paper goods? Work together with your supplier to create a dreamy design using more sustainable paper alternatives!

There are beautiful, eco-friendly alternatives for every element of a big day, from the dress, to their florals and everything in between. Event planners can help guide couples through these choices, providing expert advice and a bit of levity.

At the heart of it all, we want weddings to be true to who the couple are – and there’s a way to do that while also doing good for our planet.
